Hadron

DESCRIPTION

You are an experienced paramotor pilot, averaging several hundred flight hours a year. You can master a fast and agile canopy. You love playing over the ground with slaloms, wing overs, foot dragging etc. Maybe you take part in high-level competitions or plan to beat some world record…

If so, you are looking for the really fast and agile paraglider with perfect handling and little power requirements.
It has to be turbulence-proof, so the reflex aerofoil is a must. If you add to this wish list possibly small size, honestly you´ll have to admit this is a rather tall order. But… it´s possible to satisfy it!

Just enter the interaction with the Hadron

HADRON – Strong Interactions

Hadrons are tiny elementary particles, which speeded up can carry gigantic amounts of energy. Accordingly, the Hadron is fast, energetic and can lift a lot.

Creation of this canopy was inspired by Pascal Vallee, one of the best pilots in the world. Pascal’s input was also substantial in testing and refining the protoypes. His ideas materialized within Hadron proved to be perfect, as confirmed by consecutive triumphs in many competitions.

The paraglider is obviously dedicated for the frequent and experienced flyers, which have perfectly mastered the reflexed gliders specifics. Although the target group of the Hadron is similar to Plasma pilots, there are significant differences between both wings.

Hadron’s “reflexivity” is a bit lesser than that of the Plasma, but in return it is constant in all trimmer positions. At 5,9 aspect ratio its 59 cells look relatively modest, allowing for easy inflation and perfect internal pressure distribution. Synthetic rods on its leading edge bring considerably better launch characteristics and stability at high speeds.

Series-production Hadrons have classic steering configuration, i.e. the pilot has but two brakes at his disposal. Steering system is called 2D. Steering lines are configured in such way, that at low and medium speeds their geometry is not very aggressive, thus enhancing precise canopy control. At high speeds (full trims + speedbar) only the outer steering lines should be used, alternatively you can enter some corrections by the TEA system. Since the steering is divided (there are two lines at the handles, one goes through the pulley and the other directly to trailing edge) an experienced pilot can adjust brake progression to his own liking. The other systems known from our previous canopies (ALC or TST) can be used too, without much trouble atinstallation.

Like all of our paragliders, Hadron is produced entirely in Europe, at our Polish plant. Thus close monitoring of the complicated production process is possible, and the distance between designer’s ideas and their implementation is as short as it can be. However,  Hadron is the first paraglider we cut exclusively with a recently purchased state-of-the-art laser cutter. Stunning capabilities of this machinery allow for serial cutting of intricately shaped, narrow parts inlarge numbers, as well as their best distribution regarding the textile structure. Without such precise technology at our disposal production of the Hadron would simply not be possible.

OPINOINS

Hadron rewiev on Ojovolador.com: http://www.ojovolador.com/eng/read/tests/hadron/

The pilots of the Pikes Peak Powered Paragliding Club have been testing the new Hadron 26m this week. Our home launch field is in Falcon Colorado at 6900msl, this presents certain performance challenges for both motors and wings. I have tested several Reflex designs here and my experience has been that they require a long and fast run out to launch and are not terrifically agile in slow mode. They have all been fast in full Reflex mode but require a really high RPM to maintain level flight.

My experience with the Hadron has been nothing like this. The Hadron is super agile in slow trim. Cranks and banks as well as anything I have flown within my humble skill level. The climb rate is fantastic easily exceeding my 27m standard wing, even in full Reflex I was climbing like a rocket. At this point I cannot exactly quantify how much extra-RPM it requires in full Reflex since I don’t have a tach installed but it didn’t seem like much. The wing is quite fast in both slow and fast trim settings, not Plasma fast, but fast enough. Handling is precise and predictable. I love to foot drag and the wing responded very well to being slowed down with heavy break input and power. Flare authority is very good. Take-off’s have been easy with both forwards and even light wind reverses. The wing is noticeably light at 6.0kg for the 26m.

As you can tell I’m really jazzed about this wing and have allot more “testing” to do before I send it back. I suspect I’ll be ordering my own when I do. I don’t deal equipment, just sharing my enthusiasm for a great product and showing my appreciation for being able to demo it. I love playing with new toys 🙂

Hope to see lots of you at Salton Sea and Beach Blast !

Alex…

Today I tested the Hadron 20mt , excellent wing , fast , great lift, i could not believe the lift on a no wind condition take off, nice and ease at take off, nice control when is over you , (inflating smoothly and without violence ), smooth , fast & stable thru the sky, nice penetration at 0 trimers, maintaining level and speed @ 1/4″ of power on my polini engine, and when trimers out the increase in speed and stability is just big ,nice balance of speed and rpm, with the trimmers full out and wing tip steering is just fast thru the sky & i love how the canopy slowdown when landing, and the bottom end of the flare is a dream …
can’t wait to have one

Here is opinion of Grzegorz Krzyżanowski (Polish Paramotor Champion 2011):

“Flown speeds: trimmers close 38 km/h, trimmers open 51 km/h, trimmers open plus full speedbar 59 km/h.

Plasma 22 required maximum revs of mine Miniplane Top 80 paramotor, that is some 9500 rpm (4,5 liter per hour), to maintain 60 km airspeed. In case of Hadron only 8500 rpm was necessary (3,5 liter per hour).

The paraglider is surprisingly easy to launch. Even in still air you can lift it with reverse start. It is pretty fast at low speeds, thus requiring fast running at take-off. During precision flying with sticks, easy turning is commendable. The Hadron has light and precise steering, even minimal brake application brings a steep turn. On exiting the turn paraglider instantly climbs, so you need to work your speedbar in order to catch the stick. It is very responsive to weightshifting – on navigational tasks practically no brakes were necessary.

The Hadron is firm and stable in difficult, turbulent conditions. I experienced not a single deflation during speed task at Polish Open, flown at full speed in pretty rough air.

When I first took off on this wing, I got it figured in a couple of minutes. Hadron gives a feeling of comfort and safety, while short brake travel offer full command of the canopy. It’s little “power consumption” creates huge possibilities in economy and speed/economy tasks. Flying it was pure fun! It kind of invites you to have some play low to the ground.

A big thank you!”

Info by Tony Gibson:

Dudek is the Worlds best PPG wings!

French open
The French Open Paramotor Championships (concluded on June 3rd) were unsurprisingly won by Pascal Vallee on a Hadron proto, followed by a David Muzellec on a Nucleon. In the female category triumphed David’s wife, Sandrine Muzellec (Nucleon).

Polish open
Polish Open Paramotor Championships were held at Masłów airfield, from May 30th to June 4th 2011. Polish champion title in the most popular PF1 class was claimed by Grzegorz Krzyżanowski, flying a Hadron proto.
The weather cooperated with the organisers and 20 participants quickly completed 10 tasks.
As mentioned, 1st place in the most popular PF1 class (single person, foot launch) was taken by Grzegorz Krzyżanowski on a Hadron proto.

British open
Pascal Vallee wins the British Open..the second  trophy for the Frenchman in a few weeks. Flying the New Reflex wing from Dudek the Hadron!!!

And Last year with us in South Africa
Dudek was 1st and 3rd in PF1 and 1st in PL1

Hell the comp season is just starting in Europe and 3 wins in PF1 in 3 comps. Brilliant going guess who is the sole supplier of Dudek in SA. Yes you are right it is Flying Unlimited.
Don’t fly something else when you can have the best. Call me for a quote on a Dudek wing and give yourself the edge to win the next comp. (…)

I suggest you all start training now to get your Dudek Hadron to get on top of your flying game and stand a chance to win.

Regards
