NucleonWRC Duo is a top performing, modern foot-launch tandem wing. It is very easy to launch, fast to fly, effective to steer and has wide speed range on trimmers. Slight changes in design as compared to traditional, non-stiffened Cabrio brought increased agility to the paraglider. Smart connections between mylar reinforcements and synthetic rods (like in e.g. Hadron) result in easy inflation and stiffer leading edge. The canopy launches smooth and easy way even in nil wind conditions.
Speed range of the trimmers have been slightly widened. Top speed was increased too (available with heand speed-system). Another news is the ALC+ (improved ALC steering system) – it is more effective and balanced, so that steering appears to be smoother.
Canopy plan is basically the same as in Cabrio, but Duo uses lighter cloth – Skytex 32 Evolution+. In effect it yet easier to inflate and get up, which is an essential feature of foot-launched tandems. Duo’s weight range: 170-240 kg. Note – light cloth is available as white, gray, maroon, orange, blue only. Therefore colour designs will be a bit different as compared to standard.
