Description 

 Orca 2 is a universal tandem wing of  EN B classand 5,2 aspect ratio (50 cells).
Exceptionally easy launch, perfect handling and highest passive safety accompanied by performance of a single-seater.
The paraglider is designed and manufactured with new FlexiEdge technology in a state-of-the-artproduction process.

Orca 2 is dedicated for both free-flying with passenger and light paramotor trikes.
Four-row canopy with rigid cores (Dudek FlexiEdge technology) blends recent experiences of testing other prototypes employing this technology with long-standing info gathered over couple of years from happy users of the original Orca. The aspect ratio and othere factors were carefully calculated in order to make full advantage of new technologies while retaining optimal proportion of passive safety, performance and steering for this class.

The aerofoil used in Orca2 has some reflex traits, introduced with respect to its class and desired characteristics. They make sure the paraglider stays very stable in hard and bumpy conditions.

Inner reinforcements, structural cores and mini-ribs perfectly shape and stabilize the high-lift aerofoil. Mini-ribson the trailing edge keep it slim and decrease ballooning, radically improving the airflow. Rigging has been redesigned too – total lines length decreased by 15% as compared to Orca, bringing further improvements… All in all, we succeeded in creating a perfectly balanced design, mixing great performance with safety and stability. In turbulence the paraglider behaves very reassuring and predictable, with efficient damping of both longitudinal nad lateral oscillations.

Orca2 easily inflates and rises, without lagging behind. Then it stabilizes and with a dab on the brakes just flies away. On the landing approach it is enough to brake down a little in order to markedly decrease speed with ensuing soft touchdown. All tandem pilots appreciate those features, so we’ve put quite an effort into polishing them to perfection.

The risers have been carefully reworked in all details and equipped with proven, well-appreciated by pilotssolutions (Easy Keeper, comfortable SCT steering handles, EasyLaunch Risers). Another feature is effective trimmer.
There are some new ideas too, like additional Big Ears Handles, with magnet and special cleat to lock the line in chosen position. This feature allows the pilot to keep big ears pulled down for unlimited time without depriving him of full canopy control via regular brakes.

Orca2 is manufactured with new technology, employing precision of the laser cutter. All stages of production are completed in Poland under strict supervision of the designer himself, thus ensuring highest European quality.

Orca2 was our first paraglider sporting graphic design in a new, post-cubist style. The author of this project is Włodzimierz Bykowski – an artist, painter and designer collaborating with us for years. Among other virtues of this design two are interesting: you can be sure that no one will mistake your Orca with any other wing, and… only people with refined and original taste will like it 😉
